Sunday 3rd October saw a great improvement from the Accrington under 16 side. Chorley Panthers came to Highams for the 2nd time in 4 weeks and took part in a good hard fought game

Half time saw Chorley lead 26 points to nil but a great 2nd half performance by the Lions saw both sides score 6 points each with the match ending 32 - 6 in Chorley’s favour.

This was undoubtedly the best performance of the young Accrington lads playing careers and to confirm this the opposition didn't nominate a player of the match, they awarded a most improved award to the whole team.
